Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about Governance & Culture
What is corporate governance, and why does it matter if my company isn’t publicly traded?
It’s the set of rules, roles and bodies that determine how decisions are made and who is accountable for them. It matters in any company, especially family-owned or multi-owner ones, because it brings order to decisions, reduces conflict and gives management clarity.
Do you work with family businesses?
Yes. We have experience in corporate governance for family businesses, balancing personal relationships with the professionalization of the company.
How do you diagnose an organization’s culture?
We start from what actually happens day to day (how decisions are made, what is recognized and what is tolerated) and compare it with the stated values and the strategy. From there we define what is worth changing and how to measure it.
How long does a governance or culture project take?
It depends on the scope. Cultural transformations typically take 3 to 6 months to take hold, while defining a governance structure can move faster. We specify the timeline in the proposal.
